Audrey A. Seeley
MEMBER BIO
Ms. Seeley currently serves in the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Environmental Management and Consolidated Business Center of the U.S. Department of Energy, assigned as counsel to one of its environmental management sites in New York. Prior to her Federal service, Ms. Seeley was a member at Hurwitz & Fine, P.C., headquartered in Buffalo, New York. There she focused her practice in insurance coverage and No-Fault coverage, arbitration and litigation, as well as municipal law. Ms. Seeley previously served as the Village Attorney for the Village of Springville. In 2010, Ms. Seeley was presented the Sheldon Hurwitz Young Lawyer of the Year Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field by the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. The award, named for the co-founder of Hurwitz & Fine, P.C., is a distinct honor awarded to a lawyer admitted ten years or less who has made a significant impact in the industry. Ms. Seeley is a National Director of DRI. She is the also the immediate past Chair of DRI's Insurance Law Committee. In 2010, Ms. Seeley was named as one of Buffalo Business First’s 40 Under Forty, one of forty individuals under the age of 40 who were selected for recognition for their professional success and community involvement. Ms. Seeley has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, New York Super Lawyers and Buffalo Business First’s Who’s Who in Law.
